Educational English
ESL Doodle.com is now part of Craftypads.com. It was originally created to share the worksheets and games I had made and used while working as an English teacher in South Korea, teaching in Elementary schools. I liked to doodle while desk warming, or thinking up new game ideas or lesson plans for the coming lessons. I hope you find some of the material useful.
Wizard of Oz ppt Game
I created this powerpoint game to use for any general review in the classroom. Put students into two teams. Each team selects a character. One member of each team stands up and the teacher asks a review question. The first student to say the answer gets to pick a square brick. If they pick a yellow brick then they can choose another brick. If they don’t choose a yellow brick then two more students stand up and compete. The goal is to find the yellow brick road from their character to the Emerald City to win the game.
Snow White ppt Game
I created this powerpoint game to use for any general review in the classroom. Put students into two teams. One member of each team stands up and the teacher asks a review question. The first student to say the answer gets to pick a poisoned apple. Click on the apple and see what points or forfeits they get. The team with the most diamond hearts at the end of the game is the winner.
Jumanji ppt Game
I originally created this Jumanji game as a large board game with all the pieces and question cards to be played in the classroom for a summer camp review lesson. The students had just watched the movie earlier that day as a group. One boy squealed with excitement when he came back to the classroom and saw the layout. I knew I couldn’t carry the board game with me on my travels as it was way too big and after searching the internet for a power point Jumanji game, and not finding any, I decided to make my own. I hope you enjoy it.
